We stand behind our products and equipment. Our warranty is here to give you peace of mind as you dive into this wonderful hobby.
1 Year Manufacturer Warranty
Included with the purchase of each of our aquarium kits is a one-year manufacturer warranty. Our manufacturer warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship issues not caused by misuse or abuse of product.
What is NOT covered under warranty:
- Normal wear and tear from everyday use
- Damage from improper maintenance, setup, or any damage due to shipping the product
The warranty is automatically added to your account when you purchase an aquarium kit from www.seacardinal.com.
Extended 3 Total Year Warranty
An optional 2 year extended manufacturer defect warranty with same coverage as the one year for 3 years total is available to purchase at checkout.
When adding a kit to your cart a pop up should show asking if you want to add "Ship insurance and 1+2 year warranty" for $39.99.
Adding this option will not only protect against defects in material or workmanship but also will include ship insurance to protect against any damages throughout the shipping process.

Include: Brief description of issue you are facing along with any images that may be helpful in diagnosing the problem
Our support team will reach out as soon as possible to help uphold the warranty and offer a solution. You may be asked to send back the product with a supplied prepaid shipping label back to our warehouse.
Resolution
If the claim is deemed to be a manufacturer defect in material or workmanship we will choose one of these two options of resolution:
Resolution Options:
Option 1: We will replace the item and have it shipped within a week.
Option 2: If the item is out of stock then we will have to refund you to the original payment method.
